The past few weeks have been the most challenging times – not just for us, our team and everybody involved in our festival but surely for you as well. We truly hope that you all are safe and doing well! First of all, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your kind words and for being so understanding – this really means the world to us and is anything but self-evident in such a situation – thank you!
The decision to postpone our first SUPERBLOOM to 4 & 5 September 2021left us heartbroken, as we literally couldn‘t wait to introduce you to the Fabolous world of SUPERBLOOM this summer. Despite, or rather because of the current crisis and not least because of all your kind words to us, we have been working tirelessly in the last weeks to welcome you with even more passion, love and creativity in the coming year! You know: After the festival is before the festival!
But before we look ahead together, we would like to give you a short overview of your most important questions, which we will update for you regularly:
What does the situation around Covid-19 mean for SUPERBLOOM?
For us as SUPERBLOOM the safety and health of all our visitors, artists and crews is our top priority. Due to the unpredictable situation, as well as in view of current decisions, we, unfortunately, see no possibility to guarantee this and to organize the festival.
It is now necessary to look into the future with confidence, to fill the summer with positive experiences and to recharge our creative batteries for next year. That being said: After the festival is before the festival and we hope to see you on the other side.
Why can‘t SUPERBLOOM go ahead at a later date?
The current situation and its effects simply do not offer a secure basis for postponing SUPERBLOOM Festival. Besides the health risk, there are other important factors as well: A festival requires many helping hands, including paramedics, firefighters, police and many other forces that are currently needed in order to combat the crisis. On top, many of our international artists would probably have to cancel their shows due to quarantine regulations and restricted freedom of travel.
What are the consequences for the festival?
There are big consequences in not carrying through our concerts, tours and festivals as planned. Not just for us but also for the hundreds of artists and their agencies, our employees, service providers and organisations. With postponing SUPERBLOOM into next summer, we hope for early planning security. If you keep your tickets for this year’s SUPERBLOOM in order to use them for SUPERBLOOM 2021, you will support us enormously and make an essential contribution to all our festival projects next year!
What about my tickets?
Transfer to the next year
That being said after the festival is before the festival and this in the truest sense of the word: All tickets bought SUPERBLOOM Festival 2020 can be carried over to the coming year until the on-sale (date to follow) and we really hope to see you there!
We would be happy if you would transfer to next year to go crazy with us. Transferring your ticket not only secures you a massive high-five from us but also helps us immensely and gives us and our artists the best planning security we could wish for in this situation. For an extra portion of anticipation we raffle off great goodies among all those who carry over their ticket to the coming year:
– Additional weekend tickets for your friends
– Ticket upgrades to a FAN ticket
– Ticket upgrades to a VIP ticket
– Exclusive festival tours with a look behind the scenes
On top, you will be amongst the very first to hear about our line-up and our theme worlds.
We are also happy to inform you that all Kids & Teen tickets will remain valid for the coming year, even if the 11th or 15th year of age has passed. Transferred Kids tickets are then valid up to and including 12 years, Teen tickets up to and including 16 years.
By the way, the ticket transfer is not only the most worthwhile action, because we can’t guarantee the stability of the ticket prices, but at the same time also the most helpful as you give us and our artists the best planning security we could wish for in this situation. Many of the artists can hardly wait to celebrate with you – we hope you feel the same way!
Receipt of a voucher:
Alternatively, we offer a voucher to everybody, who purchased tickets to SUPERBLOOM 2020. his possibility has been adopted as an immediate aid by the German Government to support all promoters whose events cannot take place this year due to Covid-19. You can either use this voucher for SUPERBLOOM 2021 or 2022, or you can withdraw it at a later date. In cases of hardship the amount can also be paid out immediately. How can I transfer my ticket?
Fancy turning Munich into SUPERBLOOM next year? We, too! Therefore you can easily transfer your ticket from now on and until the official presale start (date to follow).
Transfer via TixforGigs
If you bought your ticket on our website or directly through TixforGigs, you have received an email from TixforGigs about the exact procedure. If you have received your ticket from friends via the transfer function, please create a TixforGigs account and use the e-mail address to which the ticket was shared; please go to www.tixforgigs.com and click on the menu icon on the top right and then on “register”.
The next steps are then identical: Just log in to TixforGigs and choose the option to transfer the ticket to the next year in your TixforGigs account.
Transfer via Ticketmaster
If you have purchased your ticket via Ticketmaster, you have received a mail with a form that you can use to transfer your ticket easily. Only ticket buyers will have the possibility to choose between both options. So, if you didn’t buy your ticket through Ticketmaster yourself, please contact the person who did.
Why do I no longer see my tickets in my festival account?
If you have already transferred your tickets to the next year, they will appear in your personal festival account from now on. At the same time, tickets and add-ons that have not yet been transferred are only visible in your TixforGigs Account or Ticketmaster Account and no longer in your festival Account, so that you can select the ticket transfer or the voucher there.
What is a voucher and how does it work?
As an alternative to carrying over your ticket to the following year, we can provide you with a voucher for the face value of your ticket as a replacement for tickets to events that cannot take place due to Covid-19. This voucher can be used for the subsequent events SUPERBLOOM.
This voucher can be redeemed for SUPERBLOOM 2021 and 2022 and can be claimed via your TixforGigs account from 1 July. Everybody who purchased a SUPERBLOOM ticket have already been informed by Ticketmaster about the processing with Ticketmaster.
This regulation is an essential factor for us and the whole cultural industry including organizers, artists, employees and organizations for the planning of the coming months and keeps all participants able to work. This enables us to go ahead with the planning for the coming year and to maintain contracts with participating agencies, service providers and artists – and last but not least to ensure your refund despite the crisis as well.
We are aware that this voucher scheme will have advantages and disadvantages for you, but we hope for your understanding. In this way, you will not only help us enormously but also all participating artists and agencies, employees and service providers – and thus the entire cultural industry.
Can I get the value of the voucher paid out?
The voucher can be used for the two subsequent events of the SUPERBLOOM, i.e. 2021 and 2022. If the voucher is not redeemed by 31 December 2021, it is unconditionally refundable from 1 January 2022. As provided by law, an early payment of the voucher is unfortunately only possible in cases of hardship, should the acceptance of a voucher be unreasonable due to your personal living conditions. Can I just sell my ticket?
If you carry your ticket over to the coming year, you will, of course, have the opportunity to sell and pass on your ticket. For this purpose, we will soon provide you with our official resale platform, where you can safely sell or buy your tickets.
I have bought a Kids or Teen Ticket, can I carry it over to the following year?
Kids and teen tickets can also be carried forward to the coming year, regardless of whether the 11th or 15th year of age has been exceeded by then. Transferred Kids tickets are then valid up to and including 12 years, Teen tickets up to and including 16 years.
I have already incurred travel/accommodation costs – what can I do?
Unfortunately, we cannot take care of services booked with third parties, such as travel and accommodation costs. However, we recommend that you contact the respective provider directly to find out about reimbursement possibilities.

When will the festival take place next year?
We are already looking forward to celebrating the first blossoming of our SUPERBLOOM in Olympiapark and Olympiastadion Munich on September 4th & 5th and hope to see you again.
What about this year‘s and next year‘s lineup?
We are working tirelessly to be able to share the first information about the line-up and the theme worlds with you very soon, talking to many artists whether they can participate next year. Due to various factors, such as tour dates, release schedules as well as upcoming artists we love to have at our festival, the lineup will inevitably change compared to the lineup of 2020.
