The festival takes place in the Olympic Park & Olympic Stadium. In the following, we have summarized different ways to get there – no matter if you want to arrive by foot, by train, by car or by bike.
The easiest way to get to the festival area is with the offer of the MVV, which you can use for free on the day your ticket is valid (please have your festival ticket ready).
- By U-Bahn: Take the underground line U3 towards Moosach, via Olympiazentrum. From there it is a 10 min. walk to the festival area.
- By Tram: Take the tram lines 20 and 21 to the stop Olympiapark West or the tram line 27 to the stop Petuelring.
- By Bus: Take city bus line 173 to the stop Olympiazentrum, city bus line 144 to the stop Spiridon-Louis-Ring or city bus lines 173, 177 and 178 to the stop Petuelring.
We are pleased about your climate-neutral journey by bicycle. Once you have arrived at the festival area, you can park your bikes on our signposted, free bike parking lots directly at the festival area – we will let you know the exact location here and on our site plan in good time.
The Olympic Park can be easily reached via the city centre and surrounding areas as well as the motorways A9 from Berlin/Nuremberg, A92 from Deggendorf, A94 from Passau, A8 from Salzburg/Innsbruck, A95 from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, A96 from Lindau and A8 from Stuttgart. Please note any closures near the festival area as well as the limited parking possibilities at the Parkharfe Olympiastadion.
If you arrive by coach, we recommend you get off at the ZOB stop near the main station and the S-Bahn station Hackerbrücke. From there, take the underground line U2 to Scheidplatz and from there the underground line U3 to the stop Olympiazentrum.
